How to maintain, cultivate and manage Fragrant wood

Growing conditions of fragrant wood

The fragrant wood is a positive tree that likes a growing environment with plenty of light, but it is also a little shade-tolerant. It likes warmth, requires a deep soil layer and soil that is not prone to water accumulation. It has strong germination ability, but the seedlings are not very cold-resistant. Adult plants can withstand temperatures as low as -10°C.

How to grow fragrant wood

When cultivating fragrant wood, you need to choose soil with good drainage and permeability, and place it in ventilated and well-lit places such as balconies and windowsills. There is no need to water it too frequently, generally once every 3 to 5 days is enough, and when watering, make sure to water it thoroughly.

Watering the fragrant wood

The fragrant wood does not require much water. Generally, it only needs to be watered once every three to five days. Avoid water accumulation.

Fertilization of Fragrant Wood

During the seedling stage of the fragrant wood, a small amount of fertilizer can be applied to it, or no fertilizer can be applied if necessary. If too much fertilizer is applied, it may burn the seedlings and affect the growth of the fragrant wood.

Fragrant wood pest control

Common pests of fragrant wood include aphids. You can use 3-4g of laundry detergent, add 100g of water, stir to dissolve, and spray the leaves. Spray continuously 2-3 times. If there are scale insects, add 30-50g of water to fresh and dried peppers, boil for half an hour and then spray, which can effectively kill the scale insects.

How to grow fragrant wood at home
