Cultivation methods and precautions of Molan

Cultivation methods and precautions of Molan

1. Soil

It is recommended to use loose, fertile, well-drained humus soil mixed with leaf mold for the potting soil.

2. Lighting

In winter and spring, you can get about 2-3 hours of morning sun every day, but in summer and autumn, you need to block the sun.

3. Temperature

The temperature should not be lower than 3℃ in winter and not higher than 30℃ in summer. The most suitable temperature for growth is 20℃-28℃.

4. Watering

It likes a warm growing environment. The moisture of the potting soil can be controlled, but there must be no accumulation of water. It is recommended to water it once in the morning every 4-7 days in winter and spring, and once every 2-3 days after sunset in summer and autumn.

5. Fertilization

It is not recommended to apply fertilizer on rainy days and during the flowering period; if it grows very weakly and must be fertilized, it is recommended to use liquid fertilizer and then flush the potting soil with water 24 hours later; if the potting soil has just been changed, it is recommended to apply fertilizer after 30 days.

6. Notes

1. It is a perennial plant that grows very slowly and the plant does not age easily. The best viewing time is 5-7 years after planting, or even longer, but continuous cultivation without repotting should not exceed 2 years.

2. The most suitable temperature for its growth is 20-28℃. If it is lower than 20 degrees Celsius, its growth rate will decrease. If it is higher than 25℃, it will promote its growth. It will not grow if it reaches 30℃.
