Are you still using these 3 types of water to water flowers in autumn? Stop now, or you'll kill the flowers.

When it comes to care, we usually start with changes in daily maintenance methods, especially watering, which is quite important at this time. Watering has always been the top priority in flower cultivation. Many flower lovers have also begun looking for good "nutrient water" to water the flowers they love at home. However, Huahua would like to remind everyone that these three types of water must not be used in autumn. Once you water too much, the flower plants at home may "die."

1. Rice water

Rice water is a good thing and people generally don’t want to throw it away. It is very useful whether it is used for washing vegetables or washing hair. Nowadays, many people use rice water to water flowers. It's not that you can't use rice water to water flowers, but you can't use it directly. It needs to be fermented, otherwise the various elements in the rice water may burn the flower roots, which would be counterproductive. So how do you ferment rice water?

The fermentation steps of rice water are actually very simple. First, we need to pour the rice washing water into a sealed container, about 80% full. The next step is to place the rice water in a cool place to ferment for about half a month. Finally, when we use rice water to water the flowers, remember to dilute it with some clean water. This will allow the water to evaporate better and the plants to grow more vigorously.

2. Watering flowers with tap water

The tap water here refers to the water that we get directly from the faucet at home. Generally, the water from the tap at home contains impurities and bleach, and the temperature of the tap water is much lower than the soil in the flower pot. If you frequently water the plants with tap water, the roots of the plants may rot. Once the roots of the plants rot, it will be difficult to keep them healthy.

At this time, we can let the tap water sit for two days. After two days, the impurities in the tap water will slowly disperse, and the temperature will also rise a lot. Use treated tap water to water the flowers, so that the flowers will grow faster during the growing period!

3. Use expired milk to water flowers

Generally, the packaged pure milk we drink at home has a very short shelf life and may expire if we are not careful. At this time, many people will use expired milk to water the flowers. Because milk contains a lot of protein, it can meet the nutrient needs of flower plants during their growth. However, milk must be fermented and diluted before it can be used.

The fermentation steps are the same as those for rice water. You need to put the milk into a sealed container first, and then ferment it for half a month. After the fermentation is complete, add some water to dilute it and it can be used for flower plants. In this way, the large amount of nutrients in the milk will be completely absorbed into the soil.

If you want to water the flowers in autumn, it is best to ferment the above three types of water before using them on the plants. This will allow the nutrients to be released more completely, and the plants will grow more luxuriantly. If you have any better recommendations for watering the flowers, please leave a message to Huahua!
