Three Don'ts When Placing Lucky Bamboo in Feng Shui

Three Don'ts When Placing Lucky Bamboo in Feng Shui

1. Don’t put it on the balcony

Although lucky bamboo cannot grow without sunlight, its requirements for light intensity are not too high. It likes soft scattered light. If placed on the balcony, it may be exposed to strong direct sunlight every day, which will not only be unhelpful to its normal growth, but in severe cases the sunlight will also burn the leaves and affect the beauty of the lucky bamboo.

2. Do not place it next to electrical appliances

Lucky bamboo grown at home is usually grown hydroponically. If it is placed next to an electrical appliance and the container is accidentally knocked over, there is a risk of electric leakage, which can also shorten the service life of the appliance and threaten human health and safety. In addition, in Feng Shui, lucky bamboo is also believed not to be placed next to metal, as the Feng Shui of the two are in conflict and will block a person's fortune.

3. Don’t put it at the door

Some people choose to place lucky bamboo near the entrance, but this is actually a wrong approach from the perspective of feng shui. The entrance is the place where the room intersects and circulates with the outside world. Placing lucky bamboo at the entrance is believed to mean that wealth and fortune can easily leave the door and spread outward, and wealth cannot gather in the family. Therefore, when raising lucky bamboo, you need to avoid the location of the entrance, so that it can better attract and retain wealth in the room.
