How to grow sedge

1. Land preparation

The land to be planted should be plowed and loosened, weeds should be removed, and the land should be leveled.

2. Fertilization before planting

When applying fertilizer, the main focus is on applying base fertilizer. The amount of base fertilizer applied can be determined according to the fertility of the soil. Under normal circumstances, 108 to 200 tons of organic fertilizer per hectare can be applied. When applying, the fertilizer must be plowed into the soil. Phosphorus fertilizer should be applied 30 to 45 days before planting, at a rate of 180 kg to 240 kg per hectare, and potash fertilizer should be applied at a rate of 120 kg per hectare and plowed into the soil.

3. Planting time

The best time to plant is in spring or autumn. In spring, it should be early April, and in autumn, it should be when the branches stop growing.

4. Planting Method

Keep the row spacing at 2.5 to 3 meters and the plant spacing at 0.5 to 0.75 meters, and plant the pampas grass seedlings into the soil. Remember to water them after planting.
