Don’t pour out the “waste water” in the future, give some to the flowers to “drink”, and each pot will grow vigorously!

In life, we think that some useless "waste water" is good for growing flowers. Never pour it away in the future. It is very effective to use it for watering flowers. Next, Huahua will recommend several types of "waste water" to you. When you go home and use it to water the flowers, you will feel its usefulness.

1. Fish tank water

Friends who keep fish at home should remember to keep it every time they change the fish tank water. The water in the fish tank contains a large amount of nutrients. The excrement of the fish in the fish tank alone is enough to provide nutrients for the flower plants. Moreover, the fish tank water has been tested to be acidic, which is very friendly for the maintenance of southern plants.

Before using fish tank water to water the flowers, we should leave it for about two days. The plants and flowers that have used fish tank water do not need to be fertilized in the short term, otherwise it will cause excess nutrition and all the efforts will be wasted. However, one thing to remember is that if the fish tank water has been disinfected before or disinfectant has been added to it, do not use it for flowers at home.

3. Rainwater

The past summer had plenty of rain, and experienced flower growers would definitely store some rainwater for growing flowers. Rainwater contains a large amount of nitrogen, which can be used to water flowers to supplement the nitrogen nutrients needed for plant growth. Like fish tank water, rainwater is also acidic. When used on plants that prefer acidic soil, it can significantly speed up their growth.

When it rains, we can directly take a small bucket to collect rainwater. The collected rainwater should be used as soon as possible, otherwise it may be infected with small flying insects after being left for too long, which will affect the growth of flower plants.

3. Tea wastewater

There are always a few people in the family who like to drink tea, but many times the tea loses its flavor if it is brewed for too long. At this time, we can use the leftover tea waste water to grow flowers. Tea itself is a kind of plant, so the elements it contains are beneficial to the growth of plants. Watering the flowers at home with some of it will not only help them grow better but also make them less susceptible to diseases and insects.

There are two ways to use leftover tea. The first method is to use it directly. After leaving the remaining tea for about 2 days, remove the tea leaves and dilute it with water, then you can use it directly to water the flowers. The second method is to use it after fermentation. We pour the remaining tea into a sealed container, and then place it in a cool place to ferment for about half a month. Then we can add water to dilute it before use.

In future life, don’t throw away these “waste water” easily. Use some of it to “feed” the flowers and plants at home, and they will grow more vigorously! If flower lovers have better suggestions, please leave a message for Huahua to learn from!
