Phalaenopsis maintenance in stages

Phalaenopsis seedling stage maintenance

During the growth period of Phalaenopsis seedlings, water and fertilizer management is very important. Sufficient water and fertilizer can provide Phalaenopsis with sufficient nutrients and help its growth.

In the early stage of maintenance of Phalaenopsis seedlings, sterilization treatment is required and the leaves should be sprayed with carbendazim solution. Water and fertilize according to the growth of the seedlings. The air humidity should be kept at a high level. Fertilization should be mainly nitrogen fertilizer, and some foliar fertilizer can be sprayed. The initial lighting does not need to be too strong.

Phalaenopsis seedling stage maintenance

After a period of cultivation, the Phalaenopsis seedlings gradually grow into medium-sized seedlings. At this time, it is necessary to repot the Phalaenopsis according to its growth status.

During the seedling stage of Phalaenopsis, there should be sufficient water and fertilizer, and fertilization should be balanced as much as possible to ensure the balance of elements such as nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium. The proportion of phosphorus and potassium fertilizers needs to be higher, and the light can be increased appropriately. During the seedling stage, you need to pay attention to the growth of new leaves so that they grow in a certain order, and you need to regularly reverse and correct the leaves of Phalaenopsis.

Phalaenopsis Flowering Management and Maintenance

Phalaenopsis also needs careful management when it reaches the flowering period, which is the later stage of its growth.

Phalaenopsis needs to control the maintenance temperature. First, the temperature needs to be kept above 20℃ for a period of time. After 2 months, the temperature can be lowered to 18℃ at night, and flower buds will soon form. After the flower buds are formed, the daytime temperature is maintained at 25℃-28℃, and the night temperature is maintained at 18℃-20℃. It will bloom in 3 or 4 months.
