How to plant the roots of Flammulina velutipes

1. Root cutting

When buying fresh enoki mushrooms in the market, look for those with well-preserved roots, preferably with some sand. Cut off the roots to about 2 to 4 centimeters.

2. Planting Method

Prepare the planting container, water and baking soda, add two or three spoons of baking soda in the container, add appropriate amount of water, not too much water, stir evenly, then spread gauze in the container, let the water cover the gauze, then put the cut roots into the container, let the roots of the enoki mushrooms stand, soak in water, seal the mouth of the container with plastic wrap, and keep it in a cool place. As long as the temperature is kept at 5 to 10℃, it will soon grow again.
