How to grow Jade Plant

1. Soil

When planting Jade Plant, the soil must be loose, fertile, and rich in organic matter. It can be planted with leaf mold, garden soil, river sand, or a mixture of peat and perlite in a 1:1 ratio.

2. Light

The Jade Plant requires sufficient light. It should avoid direct sunlight during the high temperature period in summer, but it can be allowed to see sufficient sunlight at other times, especially during the wintering season. Sufficient sunlight will be of great help to its normal wintering. If it grows in a dark environment, its branches and leaves will grow too tall, the internodes will become longer, and the plant shape will become disordered.

3. Watering

When watering the Jade Plant, the water requirements must be met during the growing season. The general principle is to prefer dry to wet, and water thoroughly when dry. The amount of water can be slightly higher during the growing season and summer, but the amount of water must be controlled during the dormant period in winter. In addition, in the hot summer season, you should spray more water to increase the humidity.

4. Temperature

The suitable temperature for the growth of Jade Plant is between 15 and 30 degrees. The recommended temperature for wintering is above 10 degrees. If it is below 5 degrees, it will suffer obvious frost damage.
