Why does Anthurium not bloom?

Why does Anthurium not bloom?

1. Increase lighting

Reason: If the place where it is grown is too dark, there will not be enough light, and it will not be able to function as a result of light. If this continues for a long time, it will not be able to bloom.

Solution: Give it enough light, but not too strong. It should be mainly scattered light and uniform light, and then control the temperature below 30 degrees, so that it can bloom.

2. Adjust the temperature appropriately

Reason: It can usually grow well at temperatures between 15 and 30 degrees, but because the temperature in the four seasons is different, its growth is affected. When the temperature is below 10 degrees or above 35 degrees, it will affect its flowering.

Solution: Try to control the temperature between 15 and 30 degrees. In winter, the temperature cannot be lower than 10 degrees, and in summer, the temperature cannot be higher than 35 degrees. This can meet its temperature requirements.

3. Proper management of water and fertilizer

Reason: Before it blooms, it usually needs more potassium and phosphorus fertilizers, and in the later growth period, it also has a great demand for nutrients. If it is not given enough water and fertilizer at this time, or if it is given too much, it will affect its flowering.

Solution: When applying water and fertilizer, determine the amount based on its growth stage and temperature changes. Before flowering, you can apply more potassium and phosphorus fertilizers, and then in the later stages of growth, you need to add other fertilizers to ensure adequate nutrition.

4. Prevent diseases and pests

Reason: Pests and diseases will affect its flowering, and if they are too serious, it will prevent it from flowering.

Solution: Timely prevention and treatment are needed to prevent it from being harmed by the disease.
