When to sow red

1. Choose according to time

The planting time of Salvia splendens can depend on when you want it to bloom. If you want it to bloom on May Day, you should sow it around August of the previous year; if you want it to bloom on November 1st, you can sow it in early spring of that year.

2. Choose by region

The sowing time of Salvia officinalis needs to be adjusted according to the region. If you are in North China, there is no problem with sowing at any time of the year. In other areas, it is best to sow in spring.

3. Sowing method

Before sowing, a small amount of base fertilizer should be applied to the substrate and watered thoroughly. Then sow the seeds in the soil and cover them with a layer of substrate. Water in small amounts and maintain humidity, and it will germinate after 8-10 days.
