Planting methods and precautions of Sulfur Chrysanthemum

1. Sowing method

The sowing and planting of Sulfur Aster is generally carried out in April. The growth temperature must be maintained at 24°C. It takes about 8-10 days to germinate after sowing. It germinates quickly and very neatly, and will bloom about two months after germination.

2. Cutting method

One type of cutting is carried out in early summer. Choose young branches as cuttings. They will take root about 15-20 days after cuttings. When the seedlings grow 4-5 leaves, they should be topped and potted or transplanted. Fertilize every 15 days during its growth period. Be careful not to apply too much fertilizer, otherwise the branches and leaves will grow too long and it will also affect flowering.

1. Although Sulfur Aster likes sunlight, it is a short-day plant. It is usually sown in spring from May to June. It will rarely bloom under long days, but its branches and leaves will grow very lush. It can only bloom in large numbers if it receives appropriate light. Do not leave it in the sun for a long time.

2. When watering it, be sure not to overwater. Generally, water it thoroughly once after planting. The other periods should be determined according to the moisture of the soil. If the soil is moist, there is no need to water it.
