How to cultivate bamboo

How to sow bamboo

We can buy seeds of Bamboo Shoots, or we can extract mature seeds for planting. Generally, the seeds will mature in autumn and winter. Here we can choose to sow them around April of the following year. Take a flower pot and put three seeds in a hole. Because the seeds are relatively hard, they are soaked in water for a period of time before sowing. After sowing, move it to a temperature of 21~25 degrees for cultivation. It will germinate in about a month.

Notes on breeding

temperature

Wuzhu likes warmth and can thrive in temperatures between 20 and 30 degrees. In summer, it only needs proper watering. In winter, although Wuzhu has good cold resistance, it must be kept in an environment above 5 degrees to ensure survival, so the room temperature must be maintained well. As long as the temperature is maintained well, it is relatively easy to survive.

illumination

Light is an indispensable thing for all living things. Appropriate light will also play a good role in the growth of Bamboo shoots, but avoid exposing them to the sun. Especially in the hot summer, it is necessary to shade it. After sufficient light, the bamboo can be moved to a cool place.

Moisture

The tuberous roots of Bamboo have the ability to store water and have strong drought resistance. Excessive watering can easily lead to root rot, so it is sufficient to maintain appropriate soil moisture. In summer, watering can be carried out according to the dryness and wetness of the soil surface. In winter, reduce the amount of watering and keep the soil slightly dry.

If you take these measures, it will not be a problem to grow a pot of lush green bamboo.
