What kind of lamp is generally used for plant supplementary lighting

1. LED lights

LED lamp is currently the most commonly used type of plant fill light. It has many advantages, such as saving electricity, low cost, long life, and small space occupation. The light waves emitted contain the red and blue light required for plant photosynthesis, which can meet the plant's needs for light. It has a wide range of applications. In addition to being used in homes, it can also be used in greenhouses and plant factories. LED lights also have disadvantages. The distribution of its full-spectrum lamp beads is not very uniform. If you illuminate plants in a small area at a close distance, the spectrum distribution is not balanced enough for small plants.

2. Little Sun

The small sun has a strong lighting capacity and can fully imitate sunlight to provide plants with sufficient sunlight. However, for some plants, the light is too strong and very energy-consuming.

3. Rare earth lamp

The main component of rare earth lamps is copper selenium powder, which can create a specific spectrum and provide light energy for plants. Rare earth lamps emit light evenly and have a strong spectrum continuity, but they also have disadvantages. They consume a lot of energy and their lifespan is not long.

4. Three primary colors

The advantage of trichromatic lamps is that they are relatively cheap and inexpensive, but their disadvantages are also obvious: they consume a lot of energy, have an unreasonable spectrum distribution, and are not suitable for long-term use.
