1. Breeding environment

1. Soil: To grow pineapple flowers, you need to use loose and well-breathable soil. It can be mixed with leaf mold, garden soil, perlite, peat soil, etc. Suitable soil will grow better because of it.

2. Light: It requires a certain amount of light during its growth period, and it is not suitable for growing under strong light. Too much light can cause the leaves to turn yellow. Give it an appropriate amount of light every day to promote photosynthesis, and can be maintained in a bright place indoors.

3. Watering: Pineapple flowers do not need too much water, just make sure the soil is slightly dry. You can spray water on its leaves appropriately to increase the humidity of the breeding environment and meet its growth needs.

2. Breeding Methods

1. Propagation by division: Many small buds will grow in the leaf axils at the base of the pineapple flower, and wait until it grows to 5-6 pieces. Use tools to cut it and plant it separately. It will take about 1 month for it to take root.

2. Cutting propagation: usually carried out in spring, the small tubers grown from the mother plant's tubers are used for cuttings. You can also use its roots and the sprouted buds can be divided. Pay attention to moisturizing and transplant them when the new roots grow 2-3 cm.
