The sunflower needs at least 6 hours of sunshine. It grows well in sufficient sunshine, with many large and bright flowers. If there is less sunshine, it will grow slowly, grow too tall, and bloom few or even no flowers.

The sunflower looks fleshy, and some flower lovers may misunderstand that it does not like water. This idea is wrong. Sunflowers are drought-tolerant rather than drought-loving. If they are watered like succulents, the branches will turn yellow and dry, and the flowers will be sparse.

It is drought-resistant but afraid of waterlogging. If water accumulates for a long time, the roots and stems will rot and eventually die.

First, cut off about 10cm of sunflower branches. Because the branches contain a lot of water, in order to avoid rotting of the branches, you can dry them in the sun for half an hour. This is to play a role in sterilization.

Insert the dried branches into the soil about 3cm. A 15cm pot can accommodate 8-10 branches.
