How to plant forget-me-nots? Planting time and method

Forget-me-not planting time

Forget-me-nots are generally best planted from September of each year to January of the following year. The climatic conditions at this time are more conducive to seed germination, and it is also the period with the highest planting survival rate.

Forget-me-not planting method

1. Soil: To grow forget-me-nots, use loose, breathable, well-drained, slightly alkaline soil, and add some base fertilizer to the soil, usually once a season.

2. Temperature: Forget-me-nots are sensitive to temperature. It is best to control the temperature between 20-25℃ and the temperature should not be higher than 25 degrees.

3. Watering: Water in moderation to keep the soil in the pot moist. Do not water too much and do not allow water to accumulate in the soil.

4. When pests and diseases appear, timely prevention and control are necessary to avoid damage to the plants. Spray some low-concentration pesticides on them in time to prevent diseases.

3. Appropriate fertilizer and water: Apply dilute organic fertilizer to the forget-me-nots every half a month. Do not apply too concentrated fertilizer to avoid burning the roots of the plant.

5. Pruning promotes its flowering: Timely pruning of overlong, overlapping, and old branches can retain some nutrients and promote its flowering.
