1. Requirements for soil

Clivia has strict requirements on soil, and the soil has a great influence on its growth. Specifically, the soil must be fertile and loose, as well as breathable and water-permeable, and the nutrition must also be rich and comprehensive.

2. Raw materials used

(1) Leaf mold: In principle, any leaves from broad-leaved trees can be used. However, actual testing has shown that oak leaves are more effective.

(2) River sand: Choose washed river sand that is the size of rice grains. It can effectively increase the air permeability of the soil and also reduce the temperature of the soil.

(3) Slag: The one fired at high temperature is best. The size of corn kernels, also need to be washed before use. Can increase soil water retention.

(4) Horse manure: after fermentation. It can generally be used as basic fertilizer.

(5) Larch needles: can be used alone, but are usually used together with other materials. It is slightly acidic.

3. Preparation method of general nutrient soil
