How to grow cactus quickly

How to grow cactus quickly

1. Reduce temperature difference

Temperature is less important than the temperature difference, as cacti can tolerate both cold and high temperatures. But if the temperature difference is too large, it will easily slow down the growth rate. Especially in winter, if the temperature difference is large, the cactus may stop growing directly, and even die in severe cases. Therefore, it is necessary to regulate and reduce the temperature difference.

2. Sufficient water

Cacti like moisture and need to be provided with sufficient water so that they can grow quickly. During the growing period, you can water it a little every day or every other day. Alternatively, you can also spray the leaves regularly to ensure that the leaves are always moist. You can also use rice water to water the plants, which will have a better effect. The method is very simple. Put the rice water in a bottle and seal it for two weeks and then take it out to water the plants.

3. Appropriate amount of fertilizer

Cactus is a very tenacious plant, but if you want to increase its growth rate, it still needs the help of fertilizer. Without regular fertilization, the growth rate may slow down. As for the type of fertilizer, there is no fixed requirement. However, before applying it, it is best to dilute it first to ensure even fertilizer application.

4. Use strong root water

Roots are very important to promote rapid growth of plants. It is best to buy and use root-strengthening water. After the roots become stronger, the impact of changes in the external environment on them will be reduced. Even if the conditions are not suitable for a while, it will not have a big impact on the growth rate.
