Can jasmine be repotted in summer?

Jasmine grows in the three seasons except winter. Of course, it also grows normally in summer, and the growth is very vigorous, so we can change its pot during this period.

How to repot jasmine

Jasmine is not easy to remove from the pot, because it is tightly attached to the pot for a long time and is easily stuck to it. When removing it from the pot, you need to pat the outside of the pot with your hands with a little force, then prepare a small shovel, rotate it along the inside of the pot, and take out the mud stuck to the roots. After taking it out, you need to pinch the soil to loosen it, and then gently shake it off. Be careful during the process, otherwise it will affect the later growth.

Things to note when repotting jasmine

1. Pay attention to pruning

When repotting jasmine, be sure to pay attention to pruning the roots. If there are old roots, they must be cut off, leaving only new roots. This will ensure the absorption capacity after planting. In addition to the roots, we also need to cut off the leaves above to reduce water evaporation and make it easier for the plant to recover.

2. Filling is tight

First fill the flowerpot with some soil, then straighten the plant and gently plant it in, then fill in the rest of the soil. Hold the plant with one hand and fill the soil with the other hand, compacting the loam to facilitate plant growth and nutrient absorption.
