How to grow succulents well

How to grow succulents well

1. Lighting

If you want to grow succulents well, you must let them grow in a comfortable environment. Light is the key, it must be sufficient, and proper ventilation must be ensured. Plenty of sunlight will also make it more ornamental. If there is insufficient sunlight, the distance between the leaves will be lengthened, making it unsightly.

2. Watering

Be sure not to water too much or too little. If you water too much or too frequently, its roots will easily rot. When watering, water along the edge of the flowerpot, and never water in the center. Do not water in hot weather. If you water at hot noon, the water will become very hot and will cause its roots to rot.

3. Fertilization

Generally, fertilization should be done in the morning or evening when the weather is good. Improper fertilization will seriously affect its growth. Generally, fertilization should be applied once a month during the peak growth period. No fertilization is required if it is newly planted or has weak growth. No fertilization is required in the hot summer or cold winter because it is in a dormant state at this time.

4. Maintenance

The maintenance method should also change with the change of seasons. When the temperature is high in summer, it is best to place it in a ventilated and dry place to avoid death caused by excessive heat and humidity. Do not expose it to the sun. The minimum temperature in winter cannot be lower than 8°C, and the daytime temperature should be controlled above 15°C so that it can grow normally.
