How to grow tiger skin orchid well

1. Lighting

Sansevieria likes sunlight, so if you want to grow it better, you should put it in a sunny place, but be sure not to expose it to direct sunlight, as it is likely to be sunburned. It is best to put it on an indoor balcony. Only in a sunny location can it grow better.

2. Temperature

The temperature suitable for the growth of Sansevieria is about 23℃. If the temperature is lower in winter, it should be placed indoors. If it is placed outdoors in low temperatures for a long time, it is very likely to be frozen.

3. Watering

Do not water too frequently, once every 2-3 days is enough. Water when the soil is dry. If the soil is moist, there is no need to water again. If you water too much or too frequently, water will accumulate and the roots will easily rot.

4. Fertilization

To better cultivate Sansevieria, fertilization is also a very important aspect. Sansevieria is not strict about fertilizer. During its growth period, it only needs to be fertilized once every 15 days.

5. Repotting

Repotting should be done in early spring. Be careful when repotting. Clean the old soil on the stem of the plant and replace it with new nutrient soil. There is no need to water it after repotting. It can be placed in a place with scattered light. Water it in small amounts after a week, especially for propagation by division. Too much water can easily cause wound rot.
