How to grow dragon fruit

1. Seed processing

Choose a ripe dragon fruit, peel out the flesh and soak it in water. Then rub the pulp gently with your hands, trying to separate the seeds from the pulp. Prepare a pair of stockings or other filters, put the rubbed pulp into it and continue to soak it in water for a day (not too long). Then rub it again to squeeze out all the pulp, leaving only the seeds.

2. Dry the seeds

Wipe off as much water as possible from the seeds with a paper towel and pour into a plate. At this time, it is recommended to blow gently with a fan until it is dry. Or dry in the sun until completely dry and the grains separate.

3. Broadcasting and planting

Once the seeds are dry, they can be planted. When planting, choose a pot without holes and put in nutrient soil, spray water on the surface of the soil to make it moist enough, then sow the seeds, and spray water several times after sowing.

4. Wrap with plastic wrap

After spraying water, wrap it with plastic wrap to ensure the surface is moist until new sprouts grow. During this period, be sure to lift the plastic wrap and spray water every day. It will take about a week for the plant to grow leaves and survive.
