How to keep roses alive

How to keep roses alive

1. Soil culture

1. Potting soil: For soil-grown plants, suitable potting soil is very important. It needs to be breathable and loose loam. It is best to keep it fertile and rich in nutrients. Suitable substrate is the basic condition for growth and it should not be sticky or compacted.

2. Light: Sufficient sunlight must be ensured. Sufficient sunlight can promote the healthy growth of the plants. Plants are prone to poor growth in a dark environment.

3. Fertilization: Fertilize regularly during the growing period, and add phosphorus and potassium fertilizers before flowering, and maintain a good concentration. Too high a concentration can easily cause local root rot.

4. Watering: Applying an appropriate amount of water is enough for growth. Do not water frequently, especially avoid watering on rainy days.

5. Pests: Pests are easily infected by green worms and scale insects during the breeding process. Ventilation can be used to prevent them at ordinary times, and pesticides can be sprayed in time when the disease occurs.

2. Water culture

1. Change water: It cannot be kept in water all the time, but it can be kept in water for a period of time. The water needs to be changed every once in a while. The water cannot be too turbid, especially in summer, as it is prone to bacterial infection.

2. Pruning: The part that is inserted into the water at the bottom is prone to rot. If you find signs of rot, you can remove it and cut it off in time.
