How to grow Michelia to make it bloom more

How to grow Michelia to make it bloom more

1. Temperature

If you want the plant to bloom more, a warm environment must be the first thing to ensure. About fifteen degrees is more appropriate. However, note that it prefers warmth, not heat. Therefore, the temperature should not be too high.

2. Water content

If you want it to bloom more, sufficient water is also essential. It is in the flowering period, so the demand is relatively high. Then, we can control the frequency to once a day. However, this plant has fleshy roots. Then we understand that there can’t be too much water. Otherwise, not only will the purpose of making it bloom more be failed, but the number of flowers will be reduced.

3. Fertilizer

The flowering period requires a lot of nutrients, not to mention that our goal is to make it bloom as much as possible, so we must pay more attention to the supply of nutrients. During its growth period, fertilizer needs to be applied every half a month or so. Specifically, animal manure, bone meal, and decomposed cake fertilizer can be mixed together and applied. This will lay a good foundation for it to bloom more. However, when it reaches its flowering period, do not continue to apply it.

4. Light

First of all, because it cannot be exposed to the sun, the first thing to do is to prevent it from seeing too strong sunlight. However, in order to make it bloom more, it should not be too shaded. So, considering the above two situations, control the shade degree at 30% and allow it to receive some light appropriately. When the light is too strong, don't forget to block it.
