How to care for bird's tongue orchid in winter

temperature:

Bird's tongue orchid has relatively high requirements for temperature. Too high or too low temperature will cause damage to it. The minimum temperature must not be lower than 5℃, and it is best to keep it at around 15℃ overall. In the south, it can generally survive the winter at room temperature, but in the north, it needs to be placed indoors for maintenance. It is also important to avoid direct sunlight and try to keep the plant in a dark and humid place. If the weather is too cold, the temperature should be adjusted in time, but it should be noted that heating cannot be continuous for 24 hours, and there must be a certain temperature difference, and it must not exceed 25℃.

Watering:

This plant likes a humid environment. If it is in summer, it needs to be watered every day. However, since this flower is not cold-resistant, you must not water it every day in the cold winter to avoid damage to the bird's tongue orchid. Generally, it is enough to water it about twice a week. It should be noted that although the number of watering has been reduced, the soil in the flowerpot must be kept sufficiently moist, otherwise it will have a greater impact on the plant. When watering in winter, you can use warm water at 15℃, but the temperature must not exceed this. Generally, the best time for watering is from 10 am to 4 pm.

illumination:

In the cold winter, sunlight is extremely precious to us. Some friends may put the bird's tongue orchid in the sun to bask in it and warm it up, but the bird's tongue orchid likes shade and cannot adapt to direct sunlight. It only needs to be placed in a shaded place with sufficient light. Plants need sufficient light to carry out photosynthesis, and bird's tongue orchids are no exception. The only difference is that bird's tongue orchids cannot be exposed to the sun for a long time.

After reading this, I believe everyone has a certain understanding of the maintenance of bird's tongue orchid in winter. As long as you take good care of it, bird's tongue orchid is actually very easy to maintain.
