How to reproduce Goldilocks

How to reproduce Goldilocks

1. Sowing time

If you want to sow the willow croaker, the best time is from late September to early October, because the temperature and humidity at this time are very suitable for its growth conditions. After sowing, the roots will take shape faster, the nutritional needs will be easy to meet, and the natural survival rate will be very high. So it is also important to choose the right time for sowing.

2. Seed Preparation

Before sowing, we usually need to prepare the seeds first. We can use some warm water to soak the seeds for 12 to 24 hours, until the seeds absorb water and swell. However, some seeds are easier to germinate, so they do not need to be soaked again.

3. Sowing

For those tiny seeds that are difficult to add up with hands or tools, we can wet one end of a toothpick with water, stick the seeds one by one on the prepared seedbed, cover it with 1 cm thick substrate, and then put the sowing pot in the water and let the water slowly soak up. But for those larger seeds, you can put them directly into the substrate. After planting, just cover with a layer of fine soil.

4. Maintenance after sowing

After sowing the seeds of the willow croaker, we can use a sprayer or some shower heads with smaller holes to wet its density matrix. Later, you can water it again when the soil in the pot is relatively dry. Be careful not to water too hard, otherwise the seeds will be washed out. In addition, when the seeds have not yet grown, they must be properly shaded and not exposed to direct sunlight. Keep the soil in the pot moist at all times. Do not go without water for a long time, otherwise it will make it difficult for the seeds to germinate. As long as these maintenance are done, the seeds will start to sprout and grow leaves within two weeks.
