Pueraria root is a tuberous root of a vine. The roots are dried after being sun-dried and have sparsely distributed brown hairs on the stems. It has many aliases, the most common ones are sweet Pueraria, Pueraria vine, Pueraria twigs, Pueraria twig roots, and Pueraria powder. It is generally used as medicine. For the plant, other names include powder kudzu and mist kudzu. There are many places of production, including Shanxi, Shandong, Hebei, Henan, Guangxi, Hunan, Hubei, Guizhou, Yunnan and other places. Its plants can grow up to 8 meters long and are generally distributed on sunny hillsides. They are not very demanding on the soil.
