How to grow diamond roses

Plant habits

First of all, the environment it prefers must meet the two requirements of warmth and humidity. Secondly, there is the need for sunlight, and the requirements for this are also relatively high. In addition, it also has requirements for the degree of air flow in the surrounding environment, especially in relatively humid places, poor ventilation is the most taboo. It has a certain degree of cold resistance, so the temperature factor does not require special attention. Finally, it also has some requirements for soil quality, which we will introduce in detail later.

Maintenance points

Water and fertilizer:

Although the water requirement is to keep it as wet as possible, we all know that excessive moisture will cause the roots to be soaked in water, which will cause rot. Therefore, being too dry or too wet is not good for it. Therefore, the general principle is "see dry and wet". As for fertilization, you can choose to apply some compound fertilizer or liquid fertilizer every week to ten days. Be careful not to use too high a concentration.

Sunlight:

During the growing period, it can be placed outdoors in a place where it can receive sufficient sunlight. However, except when there is direct sunlight in the summer, it should be moved away in time or given appropriate shading measures at noon.

prune:

After the flowers fall, cut off the remaining flower branches. Generally, we start cutting five millimeters above the second or third compound leaf. Doing so will help it grow new branches and bloom new flowers. In addition, at the beginning of winter every day, you should cut off the sick and weak branches, and it is best to cut off some other branches as well.

soil:

The specific requirements are nothing more than being soft, containing sufficient humus, and having good drainage and air permeability.

ventilation:

The importance of this has been mentioned above, so I won’t go into details here.
