When does morning glory bloom? What are its characteristics?

1. What season is it open?

Morning glory usually blooms in summer and autumn, around June to October. Its flowering period is very long, from summer to autumn. If the temperature in winter is not too low, it may bloom. Normally, if it is planted in January, it will bloom in May.

It blooms in the morning, around 4 or 5 o'clock, but by noon, the flowers will wither. The flowers wither because they are not only very large but also very thin. When exposed to the sun, the moisture will evaporate quickly, so they will wither. But some flowers still bloom normally in the afternoon.

2. Features

Its flowers are very beautiful and come in many colors, such as blue, purple, pink, crimson, etc. The shapes are not only single-color but also double-color, which is very ornamental. Its flowers are funnel-shaped and the edges of the petals often change. The length of the inflorescence peduncle of morning glory varies, the shortest is only 1.5 cm, while the longest can reach 18.5 cm.
