How to fertilize Caragana

How to fertilize Caragana

The need for fertilizer

Because the plant has strong survival ability, it is also more resistant to barrenness. We can even find it in the cracks of rocks in the mountains. But we can't treat our beloved plants like this. Therefore, in order to ensure the quality of our soil, in addition to selecting the right soil, fertilization is also an important step. In fact, the presence or absence of fertilizer is still very important in its growth process.

What fertilizer to apply

This plant does not have any special requirements for fertilizer, and ordinary liquid fertilizer will do.

Treatment at different stages

In spring, before flowering, we can apply fertilizer once. We all know that because the flowering of plants consumes a lot of nutrients, it is necessary to supplement it with nutrients. Doing this will make them bloom longer and the flowers will be larger and better looking.

After the plant blooms, we also need to apply top dressing, which not only replenishes the nutrients consumed by the plant, but also promotes the growth of its branches and leaves.

During the winter, this plant is treated a little differently than normal plants. Although this period is its dormant period, we can apply base fertilizer once.

Except for the above periods, you only need to apply some fertilizer at other times, but not too much.

Precautions

When fertilizing plants, pay attention to controlling the concentration of the fertilizer. Generally speaking, it should not be too concentrated. This type of plant is suitable for thinner fertilizers. Don't apply too concentrated fertilizer just because you want it to grow quickly. Doing so will harm the plant.

Soil and fertilization are complementary. When we choose, it is best to choose sandy soil with good permeability and a slightly acidic texture. It would be best if it could be deeper and more fertile.
