Cultivation and precautions of zapota

1. Lighting

The lily of the valley is a plant that loves sunlight very much, but it can also withstand days without sunlight. About a week after planting the lily, you should pay attention to avoiding light, especially in the summer. If you do not pay attention to the amount of water, it may even kill the lily. Therefore, you should pay attention to reducing light in the summer, and increase light appropriately in other seasons according to actual conditions.

2. Watering

The amount of water in the container for planting the plant should be less in the spring, which is conducive to quickly raising the temperature in the container and promoting the growth of the plant. In the summer, the amount of water should be more, which can prevent the container temperature from being too high and damaging the plant. You can control the amount of water in autumn and winter yourself.

3. Fertilization

Because when we grow it ourselves, the container space for the plant is limited, and sometimes the nutrients are often not enough for the plant to grow, so we have to fertilize frequently. At this time, fertilize at least twice a month, and mainly use inorganic fertilizers. At this time, you should also pay attention to the amount of water in the container. If the ratio of water and inorganic salts is not very good, it will affect the growth of the plant.

4. Pests and diseases

Because the lily of the valley produces a wax coating on its leaves and flowers, it is less susceptible to pests and diseases.

5. Notes

The soil in the container for planting lilies can be pond mud, or you can directly choose ordinary soil used for growing vegetables at home, especially the surface soil. If you use deep soil, it is best to mix in a certain amount of animal manure as base material when planting. Of course, you can also make your own potion for soilless cultivation, just add the relevant materials.

In fact, this is what we commonly call water calathea. It is not difficult to grow. Since it is called water calathea, it means that it is actually very easy to grow. It grows in water and is not difficult to care for, so just follow my instructions and you can grow beautiful flowers.
