Cutting propagation

The plant can be propagated by cuttings, and the best time for cuttings is May or June. When rooting and grafting, you can choose strong and juicy leaves, remove them, and then dry them in the sun for two or three days. After the wound heals, you can carry out cuttings. Lay the leaves that have taken root flat on the sand so that they stick closely to the sand and keep the sand moist. One week after cuttings, small buds will grow from the bottom of the round teeth on the edge of the leaves. Once the plantlet has grown, cut it off and move it into a pot.

Another method of cuttings for rooting is branch cuttings. Cut the top branches, about 8 to 10 cm in length, wait for them to dry and insert them into the sand bed. They will take root after a week and can be transplanted after two weeks.

Seed propagation

The radish can be propagated by sowing, but its seeds are relatively small, so there is no need to cover the soil after sowing. The germination rate of sowing and propagation of ground roots is relatively high, and it will germinate about 12 to 15 days after sowing.

Rooting and cultivation management

Do not change the pots frequently after the seedlings have taken root and survive. It is best not to cultivate them in large pots, because large pots are rich in nutrients and can easily cause the plants to grow rapidly. During the cultivation process, water and fertilize appropriately. Too much water and fertilizer should not be applied, as too much will cause the plants to fall leaves or even rot. Watering once every two to three days is enough.

The above is an introduction to the rooting propagation method of ground plants.
