Fertilization method for potted lotus lantern

Growing period: The peak growth period of the Lotus Lantern is from April to October, and summer is the peak growth period. Reasonable fertilization should be applied during the entire growing period. Fertilization can be done with a ratio of potassium: phosphorus: nitrogen = 1:1:1, and fertilization should be done approximately every 6 to 8 days.

Seedling stage: Increase the amount of nitrogen fertilizer during the seedling period, and increase the content of potassium and phosphorus during the large seedling period. Fertilize about once a week.

Operation Notes

The demand for fertilizer of the Chinese lantern is not too high, but its nutrients must be maintained in a balanced manner.

Fertilizer must be diluted before use. Too concentrated fertilizer will cause its roots to rot, and in severe cases it will cause death. The fertilizer can be too diluted but not too concentrated.

If it is raised in the north, you can add some ferrous sulfate to the fertilizer water, because the water in the north is more alkaline, and the soil for raising it must be kept in a slightly acidic state.

It is very sensitive to salt, so be sure to avoid it when choosing your fertilizer.

During the fertilization process, be sure to avoid getting fertilizer on flowers and leaves, and also avoid contact with the roots to avoid causing unnecessary damage to the plants.

Although it needs moist soil, it cannot be too wet, as this will cause its roots to rot, so be sure to pay attention when fertilizing.

If the weather is bad, don't forget to delay fertilizing.
