How to fertilize Liubeili

How to fertilize Liubeili

Fertilizer selection

In the early stage, you can use some long-acting fertilizers, once every 20 days. However, when they are about to bloom, apply fertilizer with a higher P content so that their flowers can bloom better. As for base fertilizer, you can generally choose a multifunctional fertilizer with less fertility, such as buds, and consider adding liquid fertilizer later. The weather is cold in winter, and generally less fertilizer is required. Especially when the temperature is very low, you can consider stopping fertilizing and resume fertilizing after the temperature warms up. During their harvest season, they should also be fertilized appropriately. Generally speaking, some organic fertilizers such as animal manure can be applied in summer, and some semi-decomposed fertilizers can be used in winter.

Fertilization methods

If you cultivate this flower in spring, you should start fertilizing at this time, but be careful to use moderate amounts of fertilizer. Do not fertilize Liubeili too frequently. Generally, spray it with liquid fertilizer once a week and water it thoroughly. When planting, you can apply some base fertilizer to ensure that the bottom of the soil has sufficient nutrients, and add fertilizer appropriately.

Precautions for fertilization

In the first stage of the growth of the six-leaf lily, from the time the embryo develops and breaks through the skin, to the time the young roots sprout and drill out of the soil, and then to the time leaves grow, the six-leaf lily is the most delicate at this time and needs special attention. The temperature must be controlled at 15-18 degrees Celsius, and the soil should be kept slightly moist but not too wet. It is usually recommended to use sandy soil with good drainage and the clay content in the matrix should be about 15%. When applying fertilizer to Liubeili, a proportion is required. Generally, 1kg to 1.5kg of completely balanced fertilizer should be applied to one cubic meter of soil, and 2kg to 3kg of slow-release fertilizer should be applied at the same time.
