Flower European rose cuttings

In fact, the so-called "roses" in flower shops are all Chinese roses. The bright red Corolla is very famous. It is easy to grow and resistant to diseases and pests. Cut off a few branches and try. If they survive, they will bloom again after 2 months!

When the temperature is above 28 degrees, try hydroponics:

1. Pick fresh flower branches, cut off the flowers, leaving a leaf for photosynthesis, cut the roots of the flower branches into an oblique end, and then insert them into a bottle of water filled with rooting powder.

2. Change the water every 3-4 days. The roots will emerge in about a week. Don't act rashly at this time and continue with hydroponics to strengthen the roots.

3. After more than half a month of hydroponics, the root system has stabilized and can be transplanted into flower soil. The soil here should preferably be loose sandy soil. After planting, be sure to water it thoroughly to ensure that the roots have taken hold.

When the temperature is below 25 degrees, you can directly plant it in the soil:

1. First cut the flowers into short branches 8-10 cm long. It is best to cut them at an angle to facilitate the absorption of the flowers.

2. If you have rooting powder at home, you can soak the flowers in the rooting powder solution for 20 minutes, then let them dry for 2 hours.

3. After drying, you can insert it into moist flower soil. Note that after cutting, put it in a shady place at home. Observe for 3-5 days. If it is in good health, it may be taking root.

4. All cuttings have life and death, so be sure to cut a few more branches. Let's take a look at the successful cases of flower lovers. The "roses" that bloom after cuttings are no less beautiful than those bought!

Eustoma cuttings

Lisianthus, which is often used as a matching flower, is extremely beautiful and has a high survival rate through cuttings. Why don’t you give it a try?

1. The stem of lisianthus is long and can be cut into many small sections of 5-8 cm. Note that each section should have a node (the joint where leaves grow), and it is better if it has a pair of leaves.

2. Insert the Platycodon grandiflorum branches directly into moist flower soil. Ordinary flower soil or sandy soil that is easy to take root will do. Avoid exposing them to the sun in the first few days. Spray water frequently to maintain the humidity of the surrounding air. It is very easy to grow.

3. After about 3 to 5 days, if the leaves are still vigorous, you can try to expose them to the sun in the morning. Soon, small buds will emerge from the cracks between the leaves.

4. Continue to keep the plant in the morning sun and water it every 3-4 days. The small buds will slowly grow bigger and taller, and the old leaves will naturally turn yellow and wither. This is normal.

5. After autumn, lisianthus can be placed on a south-facing balcony or windowsill for maintenance, and watered every 3-5 days. It does not require any nutrients and will bloom after 1 month. Is it more beautiful than the one you bought?

Carnation cuttings

Carnations are the flowers we are most familiar with, with beautiful colors. If you don’t know that they can be used for cuttings, you are really missing out!

1. Cut the carnation stems into short sections of at least 5 cm, leaving the leaves behind.

2. First wet the soil, then insert the carnation branches, place them indoors out of the sun, and wait for about 3 days to check. If they are not wilted, it is a good sign.

3. When carnations are being propagated by cuttings, do not be impatient to pull them out to check. As long as the seedlings are vigorous, they are alive. You can expose them to sunlight appropriately and water them every three to five days. They will grow a lot in half a month.

4. After the carnations survive, they will bloom in about 1-2 months. If you take a lot of cuttings and many of them survive, you can cut them off and give them to others.
