The difference between love grass and lavender

1. Plant Differences

Lavender is a small shrub with a relatively short plant, ranging from thirty to ninety centimeters in height.

The plant of love grass is slightly tall, about sixty to one hundred and fifty centimeters high.

2. Flower Differences

The former has flowers shaped like wheat ears, with small flowers at the end. The flowers are covered with a layer of fine star-shaped hairs. The flower colors are blue, purple, blue-purple, pink, etc. The flowering period is from June to August.

The latter has butterfly-shaped flowers that are purple-red in color and bloom from August to October. It blooms later, in autumn.

3. Leaf Difference

The former has alternate leaves, which are oval in shape with a slight point and curled at the edges. At first, the true leaves are opposite, and then they turn into alternate simple leaves. The biggest difference from the former is that its leaves will dance up and down with changes in temperature and sound.
