Aloe Vera

Aloe vera leaves are plump and rich in water. They can not only be used for beauty care, but also can purify indoor air. They are very popular among flower lovers. Sometimes they are reluctant to cut off a piece to put on their face. But once you learn this method, your aloe vera will be inexhaustible.

1. Break off a piece of aloe vera leaf from the plant. It must be a complete leaf.

2. Place the leaves in a cool and ventilated place and let the wounds dry in about 1-2 days. Then soak the wound in rooting solution for about half an hour.

3. Prepare a flower pot with good drainage and choose loose and slightly moist soil. Bury the aloe vera diagonally into the soil, about 1/3 of its length.

4. Do not water for 4-5 days after cuttings. Wait until the soil in the pot is dry before watering. In the later stage, keep the soil slightly moist and avoid water accumulation. Place in a diffused light and ventilated environment.

5. In about 15-20 days, new aloe vera buds will grow out, at which time the dry and rotten mother leaves can be cut off. Normal care is sufficient afterwards.

Geranium

Huahua likes geraniums very much. Putting a few pots of them on the balcony creates a feeling of a cluster of flowers. It is not only beautiful but also easy to propagate. It can be said to be the best flower for building a balcony garden.

1. Break off healthy leaves from the geranium plant, preferably with some stem tissue, which will make it easier for them to take root and sprout. Then place the wound in a cool and ventilated environment to dry.

2. Prepare loose and moist soil. You can use sand, perlite or vermiculite as the medium and insert the geranium leaves into the soil.

3. Place it in a natural diffuse light environment and water it when the soil is dry and wet. Basically, the roots will grow in about a month.

4. Transplant the rooted geraniums into new pots, apply fertilizer every 10 days or so, and remember to spray water on the leaves frequently. Slowly, you will have new geraniums~

Peperomia

The evergreen plant is evergreen and has full and thick leaves. Huahua thinks that Chinese evergreen is one of the easiest flowers to grow. The clumsy people around Huahua basically started growing flowers by planting Chinese evergreen.

1. Select healthy and plump leaves from the middle and lower part of the mother plant of Chinese evergreen, take them down and place them in a ventilated environment to dry.

2. The soil can be pure sand, or vermiculite or perlite. Insert the leaves of the Chinese evergreen obliquely into the soil, and spray water on the soil every day to ensure it is moist.

3. In about 20 days, these evergreen leaves will grow roots.

4. When the Chinese evergreen grows 2-4 new leaves, you can transplant it into a flowerpot and continue to care for it.

Schlumbergera

Many flower lovers have Christmas cactus at home. It has abundant stems and leaves, unique shape, bright and beautiful flowers, and is easy to maintain. Its stems and leaves are perfect for reproduction.

1. Choose a sturdy Christmas cactus leaf and cut it off from the connection. Then apply some carbendazim on the cut to help it survive.

2. Bury the end dipped in polythiochloride in the flowerpot and spray water on the soil every day to keep it moist.

3. In about a month, Christmas cactus will take root and sprout new branches and leaves.

Kalanchoe

The colors of Kalanchoe are rich and varied, including red, yellow, and orange. Huahua really wants to collect all the colors, but they are hard to buy! So I could only get a few leaves from my friend's house and plant them in a pot when I got home.

1. Choose healthy leaves, cut them and place them in a cool and ventilated place to dry the wounds.

2. Choose loose and breathable soil, such as peat soil, garden soil, etc. Just insert the petiole of the leaf into the soil.

3. Then move the leaves of the Kalanchoe to a ventilated and diffused light place for maintenance. If the soil in the pot is dry, water it a little to ensure that the soil is moist.

4. The roots will grow in about a month and sprouts will appear in 2-3 months.

5. After germination, the Kalanchoe can be transplanted into a flowerpot and then cared for normally.

<<:  I didn't expect that so many good things for growing flowers would be thrown away by me as garbage.

>>:  To sterilize, disinfect and remove formaldehyde, you have to rely on these 10 kinds of flowers!
