How to operate

Roses do not have climbing organs and cannot climb walls. They need external forces to pull them up. Roses like a growing environment with plenty of sunlight. If there is a lack of light, the stems of the plants will become slender, weak, the flower color will become lighter, and there will be fewer flowers, reducing their ornamental value. Therefore, the best place to climb the wall is in a relatively sheltered environment with smooth air flow, and the soil should be fertile and loose. First of all, proper pruning should be carried out, all flowering branches should be cut off, and 2-3 buds should be retained. The top branches of new branches need to be cut off. For old branches that are more than 2 years old and have new branches sprouting on the flowering branches, we also need to prune some of the old branches. After pruning, let the new branches become the main stem, continue to extend, and artificially pull it in the horizontal direction.

Traction

Prepare a support such as a grid or wire to tie the rose branches together and attach them to. Pull several iron wires on the wall in the shape of a tic-tac-toe to fix the main branches of the rose. According to the actual conditions of the plant branches learned during pruning, such as quantity, length, growth direction, etc., the approximate pulling position of the branches can be reasonably arranged, and the pulling direction can be based on the direction in which the branches extend. Typically, the longer branches are pulled above, while the shorter ones are pulled below. After the traction is completed, stand at a farther distance to observe the overall situation and make some small adjustments based on the specific position, distance, etc.
