Yushu Growing Conditions

How to grow jade tree

During the cultivation process of jade tree, fertile and loose soil is needed for cultivation. The light should be appropriate and it cannot be exposed to direct sunlight. In addition, sufficient water must be ensured during the maintenance process and no water accumulation should occur. Appropriate fertilizer is also required to ensure sufficient nutrients.

Watering the Jade Tree

The soil of Jade Plant should be in a relatively dry state. There should not be any water accumulation in the soil. Follow the principle of watering when the soil is dry and water it thoroughly when it is completely dry. Watering does not need to be too frequent.

Fertilization of Jade Tree

The growth requirements of jade plant for fertilizer are not particularly high. Generally speaking, applying thin fertilizer once or twice a month during the growing season can meet its requirements, so that it can grow well.

Pest and disease control in Yushu

Common diseases and pests of jade tree include aphids and rot. If the number of aphids is small, you can pick them off with a brush. If there are many aphids, you can spray them with DDT and wind oil to kill them. If rot occurs, pull out the plants with more serious diseases and apply Daknin on the wounds.

Yushu Family Raising Method

1. When caring for jade plant at home, the soil can be fertile and well-drained sandy soil. It should be placed in a sunny place to prevent the plant from growing too tall. Provide it with a growth environment of 12 to 28 degrees, and keep it at around 10 degrees in winter.

2. During normal maintenance and watering, there should be no accumulation of water in the potting soil of the jade plant. It is best if the soil is slightly dry. In addition, apply thin fertilizer water once or twice a month so that it can grow better.

Precautions for jade tree maintenance

Do not water the jade plant too much during its growth period. If the soil in the pot is too wet, it will easily cause rot. It is best to water it after the soil is completely dry. The number of watering should be reduced during the rainy season. In addition, the plant needs to be pruned in time during its growth period, and excessively long and dense branches should be pruned moderately to keep the plant in a symmetrical posture.
