Summer Chrysanthemum

The beginning of autumn is approaching, and the summer chrysanthemums in some flower lovers' homes are beginning to wither. But as long as you take cuttings of branches that have bloomed and use them for cuttings, you can see the flowers blooming again within a month!

Cutting steps:

1. Cut off the summer chrysanthemum branches after they have finished flowering and use them as cuttings for propagation. After cuttings, you can choose to cut off the entire branch that has bloomed, or you can choose to start pruning from about the third node below the withered flowers.

2. Shorten the branches of summer chrysanthemum, and each branch should be about 5-7cm long. Then soak the branches in the carbendazim solution for 20 minutes, take them out and place them in a cool and ventilated place to dry.

3. It can be propagated by soil insertion or water insertion. The soil needed for cuttings can be nutrient soil. Insert the summer chrysanthemum branches into the soil and then water it thoroughly.

4. It will take about 8-10 days for the cuttings of summer chrysanthemum to take root.

5. After rooting, you can directly put it into the pot. After potting, place it in a cool and ventilated place for a period of time to slow down the growth of the seedlings, and then put it in the sun for normal maintenance.

Hydrangea

When Huahua passed by the residential community this morning, she found that the hydrangeas in the community were about to wither. Many middle-aged women were cutting branches. Upon asking, she found out that they were all going to take them home for cuttings!

Cutting method:

1. Cut the hydrangea branches that have not completely bloomed from the mother plant and use them as cuttings. Because hydrangea branches that have bloomed are very rich in nutrients, they will take root very quickly after being cut.

2. Cut the hydrangea branches short, with each cutting being approximately 4-8cm in length; then place the trimmed hydrangea cuttings in a solution of carbendazim, soak for more than half an hour, and take them out to dry.

3. Prepare a seedling box and fill it with nutrient soil. Nutrient soil can be prepared with peat soil and perlite in a ratio of 2:1. After filling the nutrient soil, water it thoroughly.

4. Insert the dried hydrangea cuttings into the seedling box, and then place it in a cool and ventilated place for maintenance. When you find that the soil on the surface of the seedling box turns white, water it a little.

5. If you want the hydrangea to take root quickly, you can also use the water insertion method. Place the trimmed hydrangea cuttings in the prepared bottle with the bottom of the cuttings immersed in water.

6. Hydrangeas take root very quickly in the summer. In about a month, you can see white roots growing from the hydrangea cuttings.

7. After the hydrangea has taken root, you can directly put it into the pot. The soil can be loose and breathable nutrient soil, then water it thoroughly, place it in a cool and ventilated place for a period of time, and then move it to a place with sufficient scattered light.

Jasmine

When Huahua returned home yesterday, she found that the jasmine on the balcony was about to wither, so Huahua simply cut off the branches that had bloomed and prepared for cuttings!

Cutting steps:

1. When you find that the jasmine in your home has withered, use scissors to directly cut off the withered branches and use them as cuttings for grafting. This kind of branches are rich in nutrients, and the survival rate of cuttings is relatively high.

2. Prune the cut jasmine branches short, about 5-7cm for each cutting, and keep at least one pair of leaves on each cutting. Then soak the branches in potassium permanganate solution or carbendazim solution for a period of time, and then take them out to dry for a period of time.

3. Choose the nutrient soil needed for cuttings. The soil can be mixed with peat soil, perlite, vermiculite, etc. in a ratio of 2:1:1. You can also use pure sand for cuttings. Insert the dried jasmine branches into the soil and water them thoroughly once.

4. The temperature is high in summer, and the jasmine cuttings can basically take root in about one month.

5. Put the rooted jasmine branches into pots. The soil must be loose and breathable. After potting, water it thoroughly and place it in a cool and ventilated place for a period of time, and then place it in direct sunlight.

Rose

Huahua particularly likes roses because they bloom continuously almost all year round, allowing Huahua to enjoy flowers all the time. So after the roses in her home fade, Huahua basically keeps them for cuttings.

Cutting steps:

1. Cut the rose branches that have finished flowering from the mother plant. You can choose to prune the rose before it completely withers, so that the branches will have more nutrients.

2. Shorten the trimmed rose branches to about 5 cm for each branch, and leave at least 2 leaves on each cutting. To promote rooting, you can dip the cuttings in a little rooting water before cutting.

3. Prepare the nutrient soil needed for cuttings, insert the rose branches into the soil, and then water them thoroughly once.

4. It will take 20-40 days for the rose to take root.

5. After the rose branches have taken root, they can be directly transplanted into flower pots. After potting the rose, place it in a cool and ventilated place for a while, and then move it to a sunny place for maintenance.
