In December of each year, the capsules of the green bean tree are collected, dried, processed, and stored in dry storage until sowing in the spring of the following year. The sowing time is from March to April every year. Soak the seeds for three to four hours, then take out the seeds, dry them, mix them with mud and sand, sow them on the seedbed, cover them with a film to keep them moist, and after the seedlings emerge, remove the film and build a shade shed nearby. In addition, if the seeds do not need to be dried, they can be soaked for two or three hours and then mixed with wet sand. Store in a greenhouse and pay attention to keeping the seeds and sand moist. Remember not to let the seeds get moldy. Then wait until the seeds germinate before sowing.

Cuttings

The best time for cuttings of green bean trees is from March to April each year. Choose woody branches, remove the leaves, cut them into suitable lengths, and plant them in the seedbed as cuttings. After that, carry out daily maintenance to ensure the moisture of the seedbed. After the cuttings have taken root, select two or three, plant them in a pot, and start potting.

Reproduction

Also choose to peel the bark around March, and select two-year-old branches and stems. The peeling should be in a ring shape, usually under the nodes of strong branches. Then place a thin plastic sheet under the peeled end, and wait until the peeled end grows roots in late autumn, then separate it from the mother plant and plant it separately.
