When the skin of the snow lotus seeds becomes translucent and the seeds can be vaguely seen, it means that they are about to mature. At this time, the leaf stalks will slowly wither and can be picked off.

Note that if the climate is very dry, the snow lotus seed pods may crack, exposing the seeds and making it impossible to harvest them in time. If you cannot harvest the seeds in time, you should wrap them in a bag in advance to prevent the seeds from spilling.

To separate the seeds and the seed coat, you can place the seeds on a piece of white paper, tilt the paper, and gently tap the paper. Mature seeds are heavier, while the seed coat is lighter, so the seeds and the seed coat can be separated.

Just collect the separated seeds.
