Cultivation methods and precautions of broad-leaved red orchid

1. Watering

When choosing to water it, it is generally during its peak growth period. In the summer, if there is not enough water, the potted plants will begin to grow poorly. Therefore, it is necessary to water it in time and make sure to water it enough. Then the frequency of watering depends on the substrate in the pot you choose. If it has good absorbency, you only need to water it once every 2 to 3 days. Generally speaking, it is best to water the plants in the morning or evening, but never at noon. When watering, you should choose water of better quality and avoid allowing it to contain too many impurities. If we are not watering in the summer, we can do it around 10 am and after 4 pm.

2. Fertilization

It is best to choose organic fertilizer for use on the leaves. This will prevent damage to the roots and leaves. And if you apply fertilizer to the leaves, it can also meet the elements it needs. Generally, it is sufficient to apply it once every 10 days or so. The fertilizer should not be too concentrated, it is best to be thinner. This will allow it to absorb the nutrients better without being harmed.

3. Pest and disease control

When raising it, it is inevitable that it will be attacked by some diseases and pests from time to time. We need to carry out appropriate prevention and control of them in time. They are generally subject to many diseases, so we must be very careful when raising them. If we use drugs for prevention and control, we must choose according to different diseases. We cannot think that only one drug can eliminate all types. This is impossible. Therefore, only targeted treatment can allow it to get rid of the disease in time and grow better.
