Choosing potting soil for chrysanthemums

To plant chrysanthemums in pots, you must first prepare the soil. The soil should be loose and rich in humus, and it is best to use new soil. Chrysanthemums should not be grown in old soil. Old soil has poor nutrients and is not of good quality, which is not good for the growth of chrysanthemums.

So add new soil. If you can add some fertilizer into the soil, the effect of growing chrysanthemums will be better.

Chrysanthemums are usually planted in pots on sunny or cloudy days. If they are seedlings taken from cuttings, be sure to pinch the tops.

When growing hydroponically, put coarser soil or broken tiles in the flowerpot, and then put the culture soil on it.

In fact, in the early stage, the main problem is to adjust the pot. After the plant adapts to the new potting soil, it can be maintained normally. When the plant is first potted, be careful to avoid strong light and water less.

After the chrysanthemum is fully acclimatized, it needs normal care. It can be placed in a place where it can get sufficient light every day. It needs at least a dozen hours of light for it to grow and bloom well.

In addition, you should rotate or move the pot according to the growth of the chrysanthemum and changes in environmental conditions to prevent it from growing crooked.
