Cutting propagation method of Silver Gem Begonia

Cutting propagation method of Silver Gem Begonia

time

Silver Gem Begonias are best propagated from cuttings in spring and fall.

Cuttings

Choose fully developed leaves as cuttings.

Cutting method

You can use the split leaf cutting method, cut the leaves along the vein direction, and after the leaves are processed, place them flat in a moisturizing box filled with moist pearl stone or other media, and then place them in a semi-shaded place. After the seedlings regenerated from cracked leaf cuttings grow leaves, they can be transplanted into pots.
