What to do if the leaves of green radish wilt

What to do if the leaves of green radish wilt

1. Bacteria

If it is hydroponically grown, it is very likely that there are many bacteria in the water that caused it to wither, so the best way is to change the water so that it will not continue to dry up.

2. Improper moisture

If it is grown in soil, if the newly grown leaves are not the normal green color and the edges of the leaves become dry and withered, it may be due to too much watering. If the symptom is that the leaves that have grown for a long time become dry, it may be due to too little watering.

So we can use this to determine whether we should add water or let it evaporate in a ventilated place. Of course, hydroponics may dry up due to too little water, so we need to consider adding water.

3. Too much light

This is also a big reason for the impact. If the light is too strong, its leaves are likely to wither, and the parts facing the sun will turn yellow. Therefore, if dryness and yellowing occur, we have to transplant it to a place with less sunlight. Of course, we can't let it stay in a place that is too dark, as this will have no effect on its growth and will bring new problems.

4. Excessive fertilization

Fertilization will also affect its leaves. Generally speaking, excessive fertilization is a major cause of its drying up. So if we find that this is the cause, we can wash away the fertilizer. Of course, the soil may have more moisture afterwards, so we need to put it in a ventilated and well-lit place to get rid of the water, otherwise it will easily cause root rot. If the situation is serious, we have to consider changing the pot, otherwise it will continue to affect the healthier parts and eventually cause the entire pot of plants to die. So don't think that fertilizer is good for it and apply too much.
