sweet potato

Sweet potatoes are suitable for both hydroponics and soil cultivation. Personally, I think hydroponics is more convenient and simple. Just put the big end of the sprout upwards into a container filled with clean water. The water should not exceed half of the sweet potato. Sweet potatoes grow vigorously, and the growing sweet potato leaves can be pinched as they grow and picked and eaten!

onion

Cut off the fibrous roots on the top of the onion, place it in a container, and add a little water, just enough to touch the bottom of the onion. It is recommended to use a glass cup so that you can see its white fibrous roots hanging down, which is very beautiful.

Ginger

Place the ginger sprouts facing upwards in a container of water. It is best to choose a smaller container and put a few small stones in it to secure it. This way, the ginger pieces can grow upright and have more ornamental value. If conditions permit, the ginger leaves can be transplanted into pots after they have grown longer. This will not only grow ginger flowers, but also harvest young ginger!

lettuce

Place the lettuce, leaves up and stems down, in a deep container of water. You can plant a large bunch of lettuce, and it will look even better when it’s all green and connected together! Moreover, lettuce is cold-resistant and can be full of vitality even in winter!

Taro

Put the washed taro in a container and add water to cover half of the taro. It does not require any care and will soon sprout and grow new leaves. Who would still want to buy the weeping angel?

Tips

1. When planting potted vegetables, avoid choosing vegetables with strong odors or that are easily perishable, so as not to affect the indoor environment.

2. It is best to choose transparent containers for hydroponic flowers, which are more ornamental.

3. After the roots have grown in hydroponics, you can switch to soil cultivation, which will be more durable and easier to bear fruit.
