How to save a green radish with wilting leaves and healthy roots

This kind of green radish is generally caused by frostbite, sunburn or lack of water. The root system of the green radish is healthy, but the branches and leaves are severely damaged as shown in the picture below. It is advisable to use the "shaving head" method to save it.

Step 2

Place the cut green radish in a well-lit and ventilated place, and water it thoroughly when you see the surface of the soil in the pot turn white. In addition, spray some water on the surface of the potting soil every day to maintain humidity.

Step 3

If you have plastic wrap at home, you can also cover the surface of the potting soil with a layer of plastic wrap. Don’t cover it too tightly, and poke a circle of small holes around it for ventilation.

Step 4

After 1-2 weeks, tender buds will grow on the old branches. At this time, you can let it slowly receive light, and remember to spray water to retain water.

Step 5

With sufficient light and water, the small green radish grows very fast, changing every day. After about 1-2 months, a pot of green green radish will be born!

How to save the green radish with rotten roots and yellow leaves

This kind of green radish is usually caused by over-watering, poor ventilation or airtight soil. Because the roots have completely rotted due to water accumulation, but the branches and leaves are intact, it is appropriate to choose to save it by branch cuttings.

Step 1

Cut off healthy vines and soak them in water for 1-2 hours to replenish moisture to the water-deficient branches.

Step 2

After replenishing water, cut the branches into several small sections, retaining 1 bud and 1 leaf in each section.

Step 3

Use peat soil and perlite in a ratio of 3:1 to make planting soil, insert the green radish branches into the planting soil in a circle, and place them with the leaves and buds facing upwards.
