Sunflower

Sunflowers are also known as "immortal", which shows how easy they are to grow. Just scatter some seeds on the ground and the whole yard will be filled with flowers!

1. Super drought resistant

Sunflowers are very drought-resistant and can survive without watering for 10 days or half a month. However, watering too frequently can cause root rot.

2. Give it some light and it will be brilliant

Sunflowers love light and will bloom as long as there is light. Put them on the south or west balcony in the summer and they will bloom easily without any worries!

As an annual herbaceous flower, sunflowers are extremely resistant to barrenness. The nutrients in the soil are enough and there is no need for fertilizer at all. It is very nice for lazy people!

4. Self-seeding

Sunflower seeds have a strong ability to self-sow. If planted in the ground, sow the seeds in the first year, and you don’t have to worry about it in the following years. They will bloom in time and you can just wait to enjoy them!

Although spider plants like light, they can also tolerate partial shade. It doesn’t matter if the light is too strong or too weak. They can grow well on both south and north balconies!

2. Watering is not frequent.

The roots of spider plants are thick and sturdy, and they are drought-resistant and have strong water storage capacity. You don’t need to water them too frequently. It will be fine if you go out for a few days or so.

3. It will survive if planted in soil

Chlorophytum can grow runners from axillary buds, which can be cut and stuck into the soil and will survive. It doesn’t matter if they don’t grow well, just cut them and grow again!

Catharanthus roseus

Catharanthus roseus is best grown outdoors, relying on the weather for its growth. It has a very long flowering period and can bloom as long as you want.

1. Sunbathe casually

Catharanthus roseus is particularly light-loving and sun-resistant. It doesn’t even need shade in summer. The more sun it is exposed to, the brighter it blooms. Just place the flowers on the south balcony and don’t worry about the rest!

2. Don’t water too often

Catharanthus roseus has a shallow root system and is afraid of moisture and waterlogging. It is fine if it does not need water for ten days or half a month. Water the soil only when you see it turn white or small cracks appear. Watering too frequently can cause root rot.

3. Cuttings survive well

Don't worry if vinca roseus is about to die. Cut the roots and branches, stick them in the soil and water them thoroughly, or throw them directly into the water. It will take root quickly and the survival rate is very high.

3. Break off a piece of leaf and you can plant it

It is also very easy to turn one pot of Sansevieria into 10 pots: choose a healthy leaf, cut it into several sections, dry it and insert it into sandy soil, keep it ventilated, and it will take root and survive in about 20 days!

Mint

Mint doesn’t have many requirements for the environment. Just give it enough light and water and it will easily bloom out of the pot!

1. Big water and big sun
